Sebastian Kuzminsky 7b297bd895 signal makePrettyOutput: add a space between value and unit 
Instead of rendering as "45Celsius" it now renders as "45 Celsius".

Sebastian Kuzminsky 41b5afbb0e make qmake check Qt version 
This provides a more helpful compile-time error
message, hopefully preventing issues like #727
