Collin Kidder 1cb0351c86 Fix gvret code to work with single bus adapters (such as Macchina A0), small change to UDP receiver 2020-07-15 18:25:31 -04:00
Collin Kidder e4a3854af4 Many little changes to get rid of compile-time warnings.
There now should be no warnings when compiling on LINUX. YMMV elsewhere.

Collin Kidder 8beb0e31a0 Converted more code to be easier to generalize to larger CAN payloads
for CAN-FD. Improved some code to be faster. Fixed up some compile
time warnings.

Collin Kidder 0baffa300f A partial commit that changes CANFrame over to be based on
QCanBusFrame so that things are more compatible with other Qt based
CAN bus code. Not complete yet but getting there.

Collin Kidder e7e65b7216 Fixed up a bunch of compiler warnings.
There should be no functional difference, just less noise when compiling

Collin Kidder ec49413f61 Major revamp of the connection window. Hopefully it is more clear and
intuitive now.

Collin Kidder b92b909fc4 Tweaked debugging output for GVRET devices, fixed GVRET serial modes
so that both ESP32 and standard mode automatically work and it finds
the proper one for the connected device.

compatible hardware.

Collin Kidder b7bb37048b Enabled ability to use any QT SerialBus driver in SavvyCAN. Now
PeakCAN, ValueCAN, SocketCAN, and J2534 should all work.

Collin Kidder ec6d716ae3 Fix up a crash that could happen if a gvret device was not connected when starting savvycan (when it was connected when savvycan closed) 2018-07-24 21:36:25 -04:00
Collin Kidder 2c8e9716a6 Added the ability for GVRET serial to try both normal mode and ESP32 mode.
This way it basically automatically detects the proper connection type to use
and uses that mode to connect. That allows both types to work transparent
to the user. They select GVRET and the serial port and away they go.

Collin Kidder f0e5433385 Increase the allowable number of missed keepalives. This seems to keep the
link stable for me now.

Added bool passed to GVRETSerial to indicate when to use TCP,
rather than infering from port name.

Collin Kidder 60abd15461 Added a mode for TCP/IP network connection to a GVRET compatible device (ESP32RET supports this) 2018-04-17 20:01:53 -04:00

Collin Kidder 1ea9ea4fac Add fault handling code mostly used to detect when the serial port disappears while a GVRET style device is connected. Beginnings of code to add a reconnect button. 2017-11-20 22:07:13 -05:00

Collin Kidder 439ac4fcc4 Update to V169 - Now compiles under QT 5.9 (LTS). Fixed some warnings,
switched to using system QTScintilla library on Linux. This prevents
you from needing to compile it yourself, added preliminary support for
three buses with a GVRET device (for Macchina M2 boards)

Collin Kidder e2811af479 Added a serial console to the connection window which can be used to
figure out what is going on with a connected device. Currently really
only useful for GVRET style devices.

Collin Kidder 7222870b1e Many little fixes to clean up warnings and bugs. 2016-12-29 20:50:02 -05:00
Collin Kidder beea680106 Changed the way the filter system works in the CAN connection objects - now used only for sending frames immediately to relevant objects. Tested to work in firmware updater. Currently broken elsewhere. Also switched main frame update interval from 4 times per second to 8 to make things smoother. 2016-12-29 19:13:51 -05:00
Collin Kidder 4d4eabad7a Correction for GVRET time sync. Seems to be proper now (hopefully) 2016-12-19 21:34:22 -05:00

Collin Kidder 0f3f9e0fad Unified time base now so both GVRET and Socketcan devices yield timestamps in microseconds since the program started or clear was pressed, fixed frames per second display, fixed timestamps for sent frames 2016-12-18 21:40:56 -05:00
Collin Kidder b4c8aa49db First pass at turning on functionality to allow frame sending from the new connection system.
The fuzzing window has been modified to use the new system. This validates that it mostly works now.
More screens will be modified to work soon.
